You can talk about what Doom did for computer gaming, or for putting shareware on the map, or for kicking open the door for better game engine technologies or for FPS games in general, but who cares? When I played Doom I, I was a kid with a computer in a dark room, fighting my way through Hell. A Spetznaz victory is possible under both versions - I've done it once at least.The original Doom was the first game to really mess me up. The 64 player version is extremely difficult. The 32 player version is slightly easier. The Rebel tanks have fewer hit points than the Spetznaz tanks. (There are plenty of AA emplacements to take them down). The Hind has a bit more hit points (1000 vs 875) as well as 40 meter radius radar. Heavy Soldiers have slightly increased hit points. RPG (Rebels) Eryx (Spetznaz) - this is the primary weapon. Specops kit replaced with "Demolitions" kit. It is quite slow you will need to take cover to heal unless a medic happens along. All soldiers have Hit Point regeneration (supply object). All soldiers can be "seen" by the AI at a range of up to 150 meters (default is 100). All commander assets have been removed. If you play the Rebel side you should find that the map is much easier.Īlthough the Rebels have inferior tanks, the starting positions for them are much closer to the front lines The Spetznaz is capable of winning with much difficulty. It is designed to be difficult for the Spetznaz. This map is a bit of a "micro mod", and contains custom kits, vehicles, and soldiers. Vehicle drops will be unavailable during this mission, as they are needed elsewhere. Taking this city and shutting down the Factory will play a crucial role in this war. Insurgents hold most of the city including their Factory Compound, which is the Insurgents main source of income. Insurgency at Daquq - SAS Forces have advanced to a heavily defended Daquq City. Operation Spark - After having recently secured a strategic stretch of shoreline along the Black Sea, US Navy SEALs are caught off guard by a Spetsnaz counter-attack from the air. Chinese reinforcements have come from the south to halt the southern US advance.
